Scopello is a small fishing village located on the northwestern coast of Sicily, between San Vito Lo Capo and Castellammare del Golfo. Small but rich in tradition, it has succeeded in maintaining its identity with its few houses, the baglio (bailey, or courtyard), a church, the faraglioni (rock stacks), and the tuna fishery.
