The hotel is 5 minutes by car from the beautiful Mediterranean city of Cefalu, with its long sandy beach and clear blue sea.
As well as its magnificent beach, the city has Roman baths, the ruins of a Saracenic castle in the hills and an ancient cathedral built in the 12th century. The cathedral’s mosaics are impressive examples of the Byzantine art and date back to the period of the cathedral’s construction (1148). They were sensitively restored in 1859-1862.
The area surrounding the city is also full of natural beauty: small coves, creeks and beaches, sheer rocky cliffs, olive and citrus groves.
